I love to throw a party!
I was recently swapping notes with the organizer of a large national academic conference, and we were joking about how conferences are just really long, complicated parties where you invite hundreds of your friends and the festivities go on for days. And that's great news because I love to throw a party.
From trade show booths to writing workshops to academic conferences, I have coordinated more than my fair share of events over the years. My doctoral dissertation was based on summer language immersion camps, so I'm quite familiar with those too.
